Consistent quality, reliable

This was my third time ordering from Prop Money. I got the Cinematic Grade Stacks this time, and just like before, the quality was top-notch. I've tried other places, but I keep coming back here because their stuff always looks great on screen, and the shipping is dependable. It's nice knowing I can count on them for my productions without any surprises.

Good value for my shoot

I was looking for some prop money for a music video and found Prop Money. I picked up a few of the New Style 100 Dollar Bills. I liked that they had volume pricing, which helped keep the cost down for the amount I needed. The quality was good, and they definitely looked real enough for the camera. It felt like I got a good deal without breaking the bank for the production.

Fantastic for my film project!

I ordered a few stacks of the RealAged Full Print Stacks for a short film I was directing, and they looked absolutely incredible on camera. The detail was perfect, and they really added a layer of authenticity I wasn't sure I'd get. Delivery was super quick, arrived in just 3 days. I'll definitely be buying more for my next production. Highly recommend them to anyone in the industry!

Decent prop money, minor issue

I bought a couple of the 20 Dollar Bill Stacks and a Money Bag for a commercial shoot. The money itself was quite realistic and photographed well. Shipping was reasonably fast, took about 5 days to reach Denver. My only small gripe is that one of the stacks had a slightly bent corner on a few bills, but it wasn't a huge deal for our purposes. Overall, a solid experience and I'd consider buying from them again, maybe they can just improve the packaging a tiny bit.

Needed for a video, worked out

So, I needed some prop money kinda last minute for this video shoot. I grabbed a Prop Money Bundle, just a mix of different bills. It showed up pretty fast, which was good because we were on a tight schedule. The money looked totally fine on camera, no weird reflections or anything. It did the job, you know? Like, it wasn't fancy, but it was exactly what I needed without any fuss.

Quick question about shipping. I'm in NYC and have a shoot coming up next week. If I order today, think I'd get it in time? Need a bunch of the new style 100s.

B Ben 2 months ago
They ship pretty fast from what I remember. I'm on the west coast and usually get my orders within a few days with standard shipping. NYC might be even quicker.

Depends on what shipping option you pick. I'd definitely pay for expedited if it's that time-sensitive. They're usually on top of it, but better safe than sorry.

Are there ever any good sales on this site? I need a decent amount for a project but trying to save some cash. Wondering if I should wait for a holiday or something.

B Ben B. 1 month ago
Yeah, they usually do something around Black Friday/Cyber Monday. Also, if you sign up for their newsletter, they send out coupon codes occasionally, usually like 10-15% off.

If you need a LOT, you should look into their bulk pricing. It's not really a 'sale' but you get a better deal per stack the more you buy. That's how I saved a ton on my last feature.

Hey, I saw a comparison once between Prop Money and RJR Props. Anyone have experience with both and can tell me which one looks more legit for film?

R Ryan Osei 2 months ago
I've only ever used Prop Money and never had an issue. The quality is solid. I think it comes down to preference or what specific kind of bills you need.

Honestly, they're both pretty good. Prop Money's 'RealAged' stacks are fantastic if you need that worn look. RJR is also solid, but I personally prefer Prop Money for their variety and consistency.

What's the deal with their 'Full Print' vs 'Blank Filler' stacks? Is the filler stuff just blank paper in the middle? Trying to figure out what's best for my budget.

S Shane 2 months ago
Yeah, exactly. Full print means every single bill in the stack is printed on both sides. Blank filler usually just has a couple of printed bills on the top and bottom of the stack, and then plain paper in between. Good for static shots where you don't need to see the middle of the stack.

Hey guys, thinking about getting some of the aged stacks for a short film. How real do these things look on camera, especially close up? Worried they'll look super fake.

M Mia Z. 2 months ago
I've used their full print stuff for a few music videos, even some tight shots, and it holds up. You get good lighting and nobody bats an eye. The aged ones are even better for that gritty look.

They're pretty decent. Not gonna fool anyone if they're holding it in their hand, but on screen? Totally believable. Way better than some of the cheap stuff you find on Amazon.
